Archival and library materials are often stored unprotected and in unsuitable places. These sites are an ideal breeding ground for mould spores and have allergenic potential.

In a soiled state, archive and library materials cannot be used, nor can they be filmed or digitised. We provide:

• Assessment of the infested materials with regard to extent, type and intensity
• Salvaging, packing and removal of the objects
• If necessary, sterilisation with parameters specially set for archival and library materials (optionally with ethylene oxide or gamma rays) to kill mould spores or germs and microorganisms from e.g., faecal deposits
• Removal of soiling under the microbiological workbench
• Storage in the stacks
